Individuals in the possession of a foreign qualification who wish to work in the Dutch health sector are expected to meet the requirements set by the Dutch government. Only a declaration of professional competence issued by the Dutch Minister of Health, Welfare and Sport gives the right to use the title of ‘Ergotherapeut’ (Occupational Therapist).
