The
Dutch Association of Occupational Therapy (NVE) is an independent
association of Occupational Therapists. The key strategy for the next
years is to strengthen the professional power by promoting and positioning
the profession in Dutch society. The NVE deals with professional questions, monitors political developments, wages and questions related to professional development and marketing the profession. On January 2007, NVE has 3421members, of whom 2094 are practising and 1122 are students Occupational Therapy. The strength of the NVE is based on professional cooperation and and the intention to be a “network community”. About 100 members take an active part in the day to day work on several committees and projects for the association.
